A real rope illusion with two ropes of the same length. The magician shows the audience one rope in each hand. The two ropes are the same length. He simply ties them together to form one long rope, with the knot in the middle. Then he takes the knot and moves it by about a span on the rope. Not being satisfied with it, he moves it till the end of the rope. When the knot is moved back to the middle, the magician unties it and he has again two ropes of the same length.
